What Are The Changes Made In The IBPS PO 2023 Exam Pattern?

Some crucial changes are made in the examination pattern of the Probationary Officer post. Candidates must have knowledge about the new IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2023. Therefore, we are providing you the updated examination pattern:

  • The Computer Aptitude section will now come under the Reasoning Ability section in the new Exam Pattern Of IBPS PO. Moreover, a total of 45 questions will be asked in this section with the maximum marks being 60.
  • Sectional timing has been introduced in the new IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern.
  • The name of the Quantitative Aptitude section has been changed to Data Analysis & Interpretation.
  • There will be a total of 155 questions in the new IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern. Moreover, the total duration is of 03 hours.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2023 – Preliminary Examination Pattern

The prelims exam will be of Objective type nature and consist of three sections. Namely, English language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Sectional timings have been allotted for all three sections. Therefore, the candidates will have to attempt these three sections within 20 minutes each. The total duration of the examination will be 01 hours (60 minutes). Candidates will have to qualify in each section of the examination. The total number of questions and the maximum marks for the exam is 100. Moreover, there will be a penalty for the wrong answers in the examination. 0.25 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. Mains Examination – Check Exam Pattern Of IBPS PO 2023

The mains exam will consist of four sections – Data Analysis & Interpretation, English Language, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, and Reasoning & Computer Aptitude. Multiple choice questions will be asked in the examination. As per the IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2023, the total duration of the test is 03 hours. 025 marks will be deducted for negative answers. The test will be for a total of 155 questions and the maximum marks will be 200. The IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern will consist of sectional timings as shown below:
